

Wedding cinematography exists at the intersection of documentary and portraiture. The work has to be observational enough to capture unplanned moments, and considered enough that the footage holds up as a composed piece of film.
For Vincent and Fiona, the edit was built around texture and pace rather than a conventional chronological sequence. Quiet moments — a look exchanged, a hand held — were given as much weight as the ceremony itself.
The colour grade pulls from the warm tones of the venue: stone, candlelight, deep greens. The sound design retains the ambience of the space, so that watching the film feels less like a record and more like being there.
