Aikido is a practice built on precision, trust, and years of accumulated technique. The identity project had to reflect those qualities without falling into the two traps most common to martial arts branding: aggression or nostalgia.

The film work came first. Shooting the club over several sessions gave us a genuine sense of the pace and atmosphere of practice — the way techniques are demonstrated slowly, then executed at full speed. That rhythm became the editing logic.

The brand identity that followed takes its cues from the same source: minimal, structurally sound, and built to be legible across everything from social graphics to training hall signage.
